Board Rules
Here are the rules you must follow:
1. No profane language. This includes racial slurs. One of the moderators here will give you a warning the first time, but after that, you will be banned. Simply editing a few letters with asterisks or other symbols isn't allowed, either. A simple rule to follow is: "When in doubt, leave it out." Username, icon, and signature profanity is not allowed, either.
2. Don't attack us. We moderators are only human, and, try as we might, we cannot be perfect. While disagreeing with us is perfectly welcome, we cannot allow blatant attacks on our staff.
3. Stay on topic. Off-topic posts are highly frowned upon, but probably won't get you banned unless you do it blatantly. And don't blatantly advertise other websites/forums.
4. You may spam, but purposely spamming a message board with senseless, vacuous, or empty messages to gain more stars is highly frowned upon! This includes such things as party posts, chain letters, two-word "I agree" or "me too" responses, or using the quote feature without contributing anything new to a thread. Another thing, don't spam with repeated images or excessively, as that is potentially bannable.
5. No flaming, bashing or trolling. Flaming is directly insulting somebody, or namecalling. Trolling is a post that incites a flamewar. Hate posts and personal attacks will not be tolerated on the YWF Boards.
6. Plagiarism and Piracy. Will not be accepted at all. The illegal use of copyrighted material is subject to a hefty punishment.
7. DO NOT under any circumstances exaggerate a tropical storm (A storm will be a cat 5 w/ 200 mph winds in New York) when it is only a small TD or TS If the storm is a cat 5 then you can say it will be a cat 5. Breaking this rule will result in an immediate 12 hour ban from the boards.
